A San Luis native, Delia’s family has been in the Valley for five generations, which in this part of Colorado is not unusual. Her grandmother still refers to Rito Seco Records as “Nora’s project,” which Delia finds amusing. But then, it’s true.

Delia studied business administration at Adams State in Alamosa, came back to San Luis with a practical skill set and no particular interest in leaving again. She joined RSR three years ago as a general admin hire and has since expanded the role to include social media management, artist communications, distribution coordination, and anything else that needs doing before Nora notices it needs doing.

She handles the album uploads, performance rights and royalties organizations, and keeps her finger on the state of the industry as catalogs change hands and as it adopts standards and requirements for AI-assisted music, among other things.

Day to day, Delia is meticulous and possesses a dry humor that has survived long exposure to Nora and Max. She keeps the calendar, manages the in-house booking for the live room, and is the first person most artists actually talk to when they call the label. Has never once been asked to make coffee. Folks know better.

People call the label and they’re surprised when I pick up. I think they expect an automated system. To be honest, an automated system wouldn’t last a day here.
